A sky of deep blue,
and clouds so clear and white.
Sunbeams shine though,
and birds take flight.
It calls through the darkness,
It calls through the light.
The words of creation,
so hopeful and bright.
I've seen it with wonder,
and seen in with spite.
It's power I've been under,
but now I will fight.

Who can tell a sunrise from a sudden flash of light?
How do you know the darkness will wane?
When it could be an illusion in the dead of night.
A swift spark, not a blessed twilight.
But hope should be the conviction,
Daytime the ultimate goal.
Eternal night is a souls Damnation,
A deadly pit, a bottomless hole.
So towards the light I will venture,
With hope that it's light might be true
Away from the darkness I will flee
Warmth and happiness I will pursue.
To this goal I persist, with awe and delight,
No matter, the darkest and blackest of nights,
It can always be broken,
By a sudden, unexpected pure
